1. Confirmation
A service request becomes an accepted engagement only after written confirmation by The Consultants and satisfaction of any stated payment, booking or onboarding requirement. Availability is not reserved by an inquiry alone.
2. Scope
The agreed scope is the service, objective, deliverable, meeting or work described in the applicable written confirmation, proposal, quotation or invoice. Anything materially outside that scope is additional work and may require additional fees and time.
3. Payment and commencement
Work, preparation or reserved consultation time may begin only after the payment condition stated for the engagement has been met. Payments are considered received when cleared and available. Sender-side transfer fees, payment-provider charges and similar transaction costs are the responsibility of the client unless the written engagement states otherwise.
4. Scheduling
- A consultation is reserved for the confirmed date, time and duration.
- A client who arrives late receives the remaining booked time unless The Consultants chooses to extend the session.
- One reschedule may be requested without additional charge when notice is received at least 24 hours before the confirmed start time, subject to availability.
- A cancellation, no-show or rescheduling request made less than 24 hours before the confirmed start time is normally treated as a used booking and is non-refundable, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
5. Project timing
Project timing assumes timely client responses, access, information, approvals and payments. If any of these are delayed, the delivery date moves by a reasonable corresponding period. Urgent or accelerated work is subject to separate acceptance and may involve additional fees.
6. Client changes
A change in objective, strategy, dataset, target market, deliverable, format, assumptions, instructions or requested output after work begins may be treated as a scope change. The Consultants may pause affected work until the revised scope, fee and timing are confirmed.
7. Revisions
Revisions are included only when the engagement expressly says they are included. Corrections required because The Consultants did not follow the confirmed scope are handled without an additional fee. Rework caused by new client instructions, new information, preference changes or expanded scope may be charged separately.
8. Delivery and acceptance
Deliverables may be supplied electronically. The client should review them promptly and raise any specific issue within a reasonable time. Continued use, implementation or lack of a timely specific objection may be treated as acceptance of the delivered stage, without limiting rights that cannot legally be waived.
9. Post-delivery support
Unless expressly included, an engagement does not create unlimited follow-up, implementation support, ongoing monitoring, repeated revisions or continuing availability after the agreed service has been delivered. Additional support can be arranged separately.
10. Confidentiality applies automatically
The confidentiality clause in the Terms of Service applies to every engagement unless a separate NDA or written engagement replaces it. This means a separate NDA is not required for ordinary confidential business discussions unless either party requests one.
11. Decisions remain with the client
The Consultants provides professional analysis, recommendations and advisory support. The client remains responsible for final decisions, approvals, implementation and compliance unless the written engagement expressly assigns a specific responsibility to The Consultants.
12. Priority
A specific written engagement takes priority over these standard terms where it expressly says something different. Otherwise these terms apply automatically together with the Terms of Service, Refund and Cancellation Policy, Privacy Policy and applicable disclaimers.
